It doesn’t matter if your parents have taken out three mortgages to pay your Ivy League bills or if you are washing dishes on a work-study program at a state school. College students of all financial backgrounds have something that bonds them well beyond career dreams and busy social lives.
Many of them have sore necks, the result of repeatedly repositioning pillows between their heads and a cinder block wall. Even on the cushiest campuses, dormitory space is extremely tight as two beds, two desks and two bureaus leave little room for a sofa or futon. And forget about beanbag chairs. The ones large enough for the average tush would eliminate any remaining floor space.
Now, two young furniture entrepreneurs are promising a solution to the head-against-cement problem. And they are unveiling their $99.99 panacea this weekend at Harvard University, MIT, Boston University, Boston College and Northeastern University. Read full article…
